fallow antler buttons

Description

These rustic antler buttons are made with antlers belonging to Fallow Deer, which I discovered during a walk in the Forest of Dean during the rutting season (During rutting/mating season the deer’s antlers harden for combat and then diminish and eventually fall off, this is a natural process called shedding.) I meticulously carved and polished the antlers to an exquisite standard and used natural mineral oil to elevate the colour, hardiness And preserving the rustic charm of the forest. Whether your using these buttons for sewing, arts and craft or replacing button on your shirt it gives that old natural vibe from the forest straight to your door
