Description

This handcrafted artisan plum wood spoon was made with love and care using wild plum trees from the New Forest which were obtained in an environmentally conscious way. It is polished and treated with beeswax from my local area, the South Downs. This product can be used for cooking or as a decorative piece for your home, as the beeswax is 100% natural, offering protection and a safe option for cooking as well. 

For this piece I used Swedish sloyd cold steel knives, made in Stockholm, Sweden made by a very skilled blacksmith known for his talent in making cold steel sloyd knives from little to nothing but a piece of metal, a hand made forge and a piece of wood. For sure a attestation To a finely tuned artistry.

It will be shipped and packed in a sturdy box with grey alpaca wool to ensure a safe journey to your house. Before the product is shipped it will be painted with another coating of beeswax. This piece does not arrive with the feathers, they are used for aesthetics in the product photos.
